******GREEN MARKET DOES IT AGAIN, YEA

It was a long week in new Orleans, it is hard to explain how disappointed I was in the food so when I returned to Fargo, I knew the one and only place I needed to go to recover...THE GREEN MARKET.   It never disappoints.   It is always fresh.  There is always something new.  This time I tried a Salad and Entree.   The Salad?  ROASTED CARROT, BEET, CABBAGE, KALE SALAD WITH A PEPITA DRESSING.

The entree?  MINNESOTA BEEF BISON TENDERLOIN WITH CHORIZO SAUCE

This time the vegetables required a steak knife AND the meat was really tender.  Unfortunately the kale was roasted to burnt. The tenderloin was great, I also tried the haralson apple sorbet. Total costs 9+24+4 dollars, to me that was a steal, the water was a great palate cleanser between dishes.. The The haralson apple granita was a combination of a bourbon, grenadine and frozen.  It tasted great, but the sugar syrup taste bothered me.  I would have added beets for color and honey instead of a syrup.  Whatever, it was all great.
