January 8th through the 15th 8-14 of 366, shopping list and list of recipes

RECIPES
8. SPICY SAUSAGE & VEGETABLE FRITTATA
9. GRILLED FLANK STEAKS WITH HERB BUTTER
10. PERFECT ROAST CHICKEN
11. SANTA FE FRITTATA
12. TEX-MEX CHICKEN & BARLEY-STUFFED PEPPERS
13. ITALIAN FILLET SKILLET
14. CORNBREAD & BEEF SKILLET PIE

This is the list for January 8th through the 15th:  cost at Cashwise
PRODUCE
2 medium onions
1 head garlic (3 cloves) (already have)
2 lb red-skinned potatoes (already have)
5 small or 2 medium zucchini (1 lb)
1 medium zucchini
1 large red or green bell pepper, 1 green
4 large bell peppers, 1 large
 2 small lemons
1 bunch cilantro, use dry or parsley instead........
1 bunch chives, use dry
1 bunch parsley, use dry or buy fresh and use as the spice for the week
1 bunch fresh thyme, dry

BAKERY
1 loaf (8-ounces) read-to-heat garlic bread, definitely will use a slice of bread

MEAT/POULTRY/FISH
2 flank steaks (about 1 1/2 lb each), will probably get 1/2 lb total
1 lb lean ground beef, will probably get 1/4 lb total
1 roasting chicken (about 5 1/2 lb), will probably get 1 chicken breast
8 oz lean ground chicken, will probably have to buy a whole pound (maybe substitute into ground beef)
8 oz hot italian turkey sausage (already have)
1 lb small fresh fish filets (such as tilapia, turbot or red snapper), only 1/4 pound of this

REFRIGERATED
2 1/2 sticks butter (already have)
4 oz part-skim mozzarella (already have)
8 oz pepper jack cheese
eggs (8 large)
1 carton (15 oz) southwestern egg beaters.....what is this

FROZEN
1 bag (16 oz) broccoli, corn and red peppers mix, I think I'll use fresh pepper, corn from below and broccoli (1 spear)
1 pkg (10 oz) whole-kernel corn, ok I would get this

GROCERY
1 can (14 oz) diced italian-season tomatoes
1can (21 oz) ranchero beans.....what is this
1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn, probably stick with frozen
1 can (10 oz) enchilada sauce, already have
1 pkg (11 oz) quick-cooking barley
1 pkg (6.5 oz) cornbread mix)

PANTRY
salt
pepper
oil
nonstick spray
garlic powder (no no no)
paprika
dried marjoram, maybe
dried thyme
ground cumin
