INGREDIENTS:
Neufchatel (FYI thank you for explaining, you know who you are)
Roasted red Peppers (patted dry and sliced into strips)
Turkey Bacon (cooked and cut into half, 1 1/2 slices) adds texture
Olive Oil/ butter spread
Two 100 calorie 6 grams of fiber slices of bread
One Egg white (beat and cook into the shape of a piece of bread)
1/4 cup of fat free shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Spread "butter"(olive oil) on outsides of two pieces of bread
Spread insides with 2 tsp neufchatel
Place bacon on top of of neufchatel on one side
Place egg on top of bacon
Place strips of red pepper on top of bacon
Place shredded cheese on top of red pepper
Cover with the other piece of bread
PLACE into medium heated pan until brown
TURN over and place small pan on top of cooked side to allow the cheese to melt thoroughly
FIBER GRAMS: 12. Calories minimum 300 but no where near 600. Vegetables: red pepper. Protein: turkey bacon and cheese. Fat minimized.
If you cut it into 4 pieces you can eat it slowly it will slow down the calorie intake. Add fresh vegetables with a spritz of EVOO and fruit.
